Discipleship Measures

What disciples do

Disciples discover life is found only in knowing and loving Jesus as King.

Then, disciples drink deeply of this love and life which springs from knowing Jesus personally.

Jesus then leads them to draw together in fellowship and mutual care for one another.

Finally, out their overflowing joy and gratitude, disciples direct others to find life in Jesus.

Our strategy for making disciples at The Well consists of connecting people to the Lord in heartfelt worship, connecting people to one another in authentic fellowship, and connecting people to a purpose in kingdom service.

So, though every person is different, our primary strategy for “helping” people experience the goodness of following Jesus is to encourage them to commit to attending our Sunday morning worship service, joining a weekly small group, and finding a place of regular service in the church. These offer the best opportunities to help a person discover life, drink deeply, draw together, and direct others.
