Plan A Visit

The Well Church

Can I tell you a story?

I recently picked up bow hunting and (because I'm cheap) got all my equipment on ebay. However, I had to have my bow set up and outfitted at a local shop (you know, the guys I didn't buy it from). I have never stressed so much about walking into a store. First, I didn't want them to judge me or resent me for buying online rather than their store. Plus, I was a total foreigner--I didn't know anything about archery and was sure they'd figure it out. And I didn't know if I was going to be helped, mocked, or taken advantage of. Silly right? Yes, it was...but as I was anxiously "planning my visit" to the archery shop (who does that?) I realized what folks must be feeling when they walk in to a new church--only more so! I've been in church my whole life, it's easy for me. But, we know that's not the case for everyone. So, I promise we will do everything we can to make sure its easy and enjoyable. We won't make you feel like an outsider, we won't single you out in the service, or expect you to know anything (though I'm sure you do!). So be brave and plan that visit!

Our Promise to You

You Are Welcome!

You'll Meet Friendly People

Your Kids will Love it

(and your teens won't hate it)

You'll Leave Blessed

What To Expect?

A typical service lasts about 75 minutes (but who's counting?). We sing worship songs and/or hymns with lyrics on the screen, spend time in prayer (don't worry, we won't ask you to pray out loud or anything), allow for a time of sharing from God's word, and have a biblical and practical message (aprox. 35-40 min).

What About Kids?

For kids birth-4 years old we have nursery available for the whole service. Kids K-3rd grade join us in the service until the sermon, at which point they go to Children's Church where they get an age appropriate and interactive worship time and lesson. Kids older than 3rd grade begin to stay in the service the whole time.

What Do I Wear?

You can really wear whatever you like. Some come in jeans and collared shirts, some are in shorts and tees, and others wear slacks and buttons. We've not yet had a tuxedo, but you could be the first! Just wear what makes you feel your best, and don't stress.

Where Do I Go?

Location and times are below, but that doesn't really tell you "where to go." So, we will have hosts meet you in the foyer and make sure you are never lost (and that you find the coffee and donuts)! And they will introduce you to a few folks so you won't feel alone or ignored.
